Siege of Autun : ウィキペディア英語版
Siege of Autun

In 356 AD, Roman Emperor Julian the Apostate received a report that Augustodunum (Autun) was under attack by a group of Alamanni and that as a result of the poor state of repair of the walls, the city was in danger of falling. He marched to Autun and relieved the siege.〔Goldsworthy, Adrian. ''In the Name of Rome'', Weidenfeld and Nicolson, 2003, p. 343〕
